Yemen unity-a full flowering tree dear to all

The Yemeni unity is a full flowering tree under which all Yemenis take shelter and relax from trouble and injustice. In fact, we all know, before May 22,1990, our grandparents had different sufferings as rivers of blood were shed, mothers were deprived from seeing their sons, Yemenis were deprived from basic infrastructures and services such as education; health; and different human rights. On this date, blessed initiative and agreement of unification was signed and achieved as a result of sincere efforts exerted by the brave son of Yemen H.E Ali Abdullah Saleh. This great step in the history of Yemen is, in particular, the cornerstone for Yemen sustainable development emphasized by H.E the Republic President, Saleh. That is to say, there was no development without unity because the two are inseparable roots of moving our country ahead as well as safety and security.
<o></o>Recognizing what is mentioned above, the goals of gangs in some southern cities must be clear and well-known for every Yemeni inside Yemen or abroad. Their anarchy, riots, violent actions such as killing innocent people, beating sellers and burning down some shops are sufficient evidence of their anti-unity devilish goals. They frankly call for separation which is for all sincere Yemenis and Arabs something strongly and logically rejected. Those who are actually our enemies have disturbed our hearts and they are aiming to make a pointless threat to our peace and stability. Their objectives are not to fight corruption but to fight development plans. This is very clear because they are only trying to achieve their self-interests by executing the instructions of some foreign spiteful forces. So, if we allow such chaotic actions and their consequences to happen, then this will have present and future negative impacts on our democracy, economy, development and all infrastructure facilities. In other words, the unjustified illegal violent movements play a bad role by hindering the development wheel and threatening peaceful lives of the nation.
<o></o>On the general scope, it is a fact that we cannot call for Arab unity if we cannot maintain Yemeni unity. It is clear that regional and external hostile forces know from Yemeni culture that if the Yemeni people become a unified human and economic force, they will be part of the Arab nation. They want Yemen to remain a poor nation which will always be in need of aid. But we can proudly respond to them :“you are dreaming of something impossible because all Yemenis are united in their hearts ’’.
<o></o>To conclude, we must join hands to defend our unified country for the above-mentioned reasons. We must defend this fruitful tree which was planted by H.E President Saleh and irrigated by the blood of martyrs, and whose blessed shadow and useful fruits are reaped by all Yemenis all over Yemen. Thus, we must not allow anybody to harm or uproot the stabilized roots of heavenly tree which is faithfully dear to us
